On Friday January 10th, 12 year 7's competed in their first indoor athletics competition. Almost all of them had nerves and were worried how they would do as this was the first time that they had competed in an event like this. All 12 athletes placed first or second in their respective competitions. The boys came in first in 5/11and coming in second in the rest of the events. The girls came in first in 9/11 events and the rest coming in a strong second.

Their hard work, determination, high spirits and great sportsmanship led to them winning the overall competition with both genders bringing back their own trophies.  

Their great performance means that they will be representing Holland Park school and West London boroughs in the London Youth games on February 6th.
