Safeguarding

Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has an important role to play in safeguarding children. School staff are particularly important as they are in a position to identify concerns early and provide help for children, to prevent concerns from escalating. Schools and their staff form part of a wider safeguarding system for children. We recognise that our students may be vulnerable during their school years and will always adopt a sensitive and caring approach to support them and their families.

The governors and staff will carry out their responsibilities efficiently, effectively and diligently to ensure that the school is a safe and effective learning environment for our students.

Bash Malik, Deputy Headteacher is our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Mr Clarke is our Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

Cath Boyle is our Operational Safeguarding Lead

Outside school hours, students can seek support via Childline on 0800 1111. The phone
